Late Late Toy Show continues to deliver for brands

The Late Late Toy Show continues to capture both the hearts and minds of the nation with a record 1.7 million people tuning in on November 29th.

RTÉ are reporting a record of 1.7m people viewing the Toy Show across live linear TV viewing, RTÉ Player views, RTÉ +1 and the repeat show which aired on the following Sunday evening, with an additional total 200,000 viewers year on year.

The consolidated figures from Nielsen show that 1,540,748 people tuned in live at its peak, delivering 35.4 TV ratings and commanding a 76% share of the total audience watching TV at that time. A further 141,865 viewers tuned in to the repeat on Sunday.

For advertisers, the show – now in its 44th year – remains one of the key appointment-to-view programmes of the year.

While a 30 second spot comes at a premium – RTÉ Rate Card value is €36,000 – advertisers still see it as a consistently strong performing and effective way to reach audiences on an unparalleled scale.
