About us
We’re an agency of ‘forward thinkers’ working as partners to our clients to deliver results. Our mission has always been simple, to achieve success on behalf of our clients and our approach is to firmly position our clients at the centre of everything we do. We can proudly say that Mediaworks has the best retention record in the business.
We’ve been around since 1996, and we’re 24 this year. And like most 24-year-olds, we’re always connected, with digital at the heart of our business.
Our story
Mediaworks was launched in January 1996, having previously operated as the media division of one of Ireland’s most awarded advertising and marketing agencies. We grew into Ireland’s largest independent media agency. Our independent roots meant we could never rely on external forces for business. We have always focused on forming long-lasting relationships with clients, delivering best in class service.
In 2011, we became part of the Core family, having been approached to further strengthen Ireland’s largest marketing communications group. Mindful of the suite of tools and resources within Core, we saw this as a great opportunity to further develop our range of offerings for our clients; and so the team became part of the group in December 2011. Now, we deliver the best of both worlds, the scale and tools to deliver more buying power and strategy insight matched with our independent and hungry nature to fight on behalf of our clients.

Awards
Awards help to set the bar high for us all, and keep a focus on innovation, but they are nothing when an afterthought. In Mediaworks, it is our aim that with each new brief, we have an opportunity to develop award winning work. We’ve been very proud of our achievements in this regard, having been one of Ireland’s most awarded agencies in recent years.
56 awards later we look forward to continuing to challenging the norms and creating more award-winning work with our clients.
Culture
Our culture is our people. We have been successfully awarded one of Ireland’s Best Workplaces for the past several years through the Great Place to Work Institute and in 2020 we were very proud be have been announced as one of Ireland’s Best Workplaces for Women. This is all down to the spirit, commitment and talent of our people and our core value of togetherness.
We also like to think we’re a bit of craic. So tweet us, read our#Thoughts and get in touch.
